The last couple of years changed just about everything.
Ian Cochran spent over a decade as the voice and engine of Cowboy Diplomacy — Austin's most celebrated independent rock act, Best Band of ATX, built from nothing with his best friend and a one-way move from California.
Then life hit hard. He lost his dad. Left Austin. Moved back to California. And spent a long time figuring out what matters most.
"Through all of it, I kept writing. Some of those songs helped me make sense of things. Some came from places I didn't know how to talk about any other way."
For a long time those songs lived in notebooks, voice memos, and late nights with a guitar. Now he's ready to share them. More stripped down. More personal. More focused on the stories.
This is the album Ian was always meant to make.
